Ferrous sulfate is a by-product of titanium dioxide production. Ferrous sulfate heptahydrate is often used in industrial production and wastewater treatment. Ferrous sulfate heptahydrate as a reducing agent has a good effect on the flocculation and decolorization of wastewater. It can also be used in cement to remove toxic chromate in cement and used as blood tonic in medicine.

It can be used as reducing agent in electroplating factory, flocculant in industrial wastewater, precipitating agent in printing and dyeing factory, raw material of iron red factory, raw material of pesticide factory, raw material of fertilizer factory, fertilization of ferrous sulfate flowers and so on.

Widely used in printing and dyeing, papermaking, domestic sewage, industrial wastewater flocculation clarification and decolorization, ferrous sulfate can also be used to treat chromium-containing wastewater and cadmium containing wastewater and other high alkalinity, high chroma wastewater treatment, can reduce the large amount of acid investment in neutralization.
